Cautious & Curious

Olivia turned nine months on Saturday. I can't believe my little one is growing up so fast. The last month has been amazing. She changes daily and is getting so adventurous. Last night as Colin and I were sitting in her room and reading her books before bed.... she got up the nerve to try and climb the bookshelf. She is so cautious yet so curious. It seems like sometimes she pauses, like she is frozen, and waits to see which side of her will win and then she makes her decision (go for it or return safely to the floor -- and that time she went for it). It was so adorable... you could actually see her decision making process.

Early last month Livia got pretty sick..... poor little thing. She had an eye infection (in both eyes) and a pretty bad cold. But even though she sometimes woke up with her eyes almost completely glued shut she still had this adorable, goofy grin on her face. She wasn't feeling well but she still wanted so much to be happy.... it was so sweet. The first 4 pictures are of her nearing the end of that time.

Then a couple goof'n around the house with mom and dad pictures :)

The next picture doesn't do her face justice. We gave her some mashed up red kidney beans and she had them everywhere.

These pictures are a comparison between how much the kids have changed. They were taken at our prenatal class reunions (minus on little guy who moved between when the pictures where taken).

And unlike most of us... Livy loves to brush her teeth. Having Grandpa's help is always nice too (seen in the video) below the picture.
