17 Months Old

First snow suite & boots. Oh what fun she had playing in the snow and of course tasting the snow. Livia is even tougher than I am. Whenever we go outside she wants to grab a handful of snow and hold it. I (being a wimp) would drop it with in seconds... but not my little girl... she holds it for minutes at a time. Sometimes I get her drop it for a while so her hands have time to warm up.

Right behind our condo is a island surrounded by the parking lot that separates the two buildings and Livia kept doing laps. I had to run to stay in front of her to get some shots of her face... but then that of course just thrilled her so she ran faster.

You can see by all the tracks behind her that she is on her second lap at this point :)

Livia now counts. Colin was getting her to say ONE a while ago and she repeated it. Then he said two and she said three, he said four and she said five. So he said six then she said nine :) Below are a couple pics of her counting... we will try to get the counting on video soon.

She loves cuddling with Colin and reading as you can see. When ever he grabs a book she runs over and snuggles in.

Livia has now gotten interested in wearing barrettes. But...

She likes them so much she can't keep herself from double checking that they are still there... which with too much touching falls out. Or she will just grab them out look at them to make sure it's really is a barrette in her hair and then she asks me to put it back in.

Livia is obsessed with climbing on chairs. If one is left pushed away from the table, wait a second or two and then you will see a little girl on it like magic.

Too much playing... if there is such a thing :)
